Erik Michielsen

Erik Michielsen is founder and CEO of Capture Your Flag. He founded Capture Your Flag in 2009 to promote Near Peer Learning as an approachable alternative to expert- and peer-based learning. An expert interviewer, Michielsen facilitates knowledge sharing by interviewing select rising leaders annually, charting their development over time to document ways aspirational careers develop. Interviews are segmented by question, creating knowledge rich and thematic driven video learning experiences used by millions worldwide. Before Capture Your Flag, Erik honed his passions for interviewing, rising leaders and idea innovation as an executive with boutique research firm ABI Research. He is a board member to non-profit Kilifi Kids and its mission to eradicate child malnutrition by using mobile health solutions. He holds an MBA from Duke University and a BA in Economics from the University of Michigan. Erik loves competing in both cooking competitions and long distance races, including the 2009, 2010, and 2013 New York City marathons.

Sarah Simmons

Named one of "America's Great New Cooks" by FOOD & WINE Magazine, Sarah Simmons is the founder and chef of Birds & Bubbles restaurant in the Lower East Side of New York City. Simmons is also founder and chef of City Grit, a New York City "culinary salon" that has grown from supper club roots to become a concert hall for indie rock star chefs visiting from around the world.  

Ramsey Pryor

Ramsey Pryor is an international marketing executive with over 18 years of global product management and marketing experience. While at IBM, Pryor introduced IBM’s first web-based email offering into market and led IBM’s market-facing activities to build market awareness for IBM Connections social business platform, ranked first in market share by IDC for the past 5 years. Pryor earned a BA from Northwestern University, with concentrations in economics and Spanish, and an MBA from IESE Business School at the University of Navarra in Barcelona, Spain.

Stephanie Redlener

Stephanie Redlener is a talent management executive. She is currently Managing Director, Talent Strategy at Discover Digital Group (DDG) and Founder at talent management consulting firm Agent Gold in New York City. Redlener studied business at California State University at Long Beach and advertising at Miami Ad School.

Jullien Gordon is a Business Coach based in New York City.  He helps Americans D.R.E.A.M. awake in the midst of an economy where the American dream is fading. D.R.E.A.M. means having one's Desired Relationships Employment And Money.

Adam Carter

As an educator, humanitarian, and micro-philanthropist, Adam Carter has traveled, taught, worked and studied in over 80 countries. He is currently a middle school social studies teacher at Schutz American School in Alexandria, Egypt.

Michael Olsen is a management consultant working at Accenture. Previous to Accenture, Olsen pursued his passion to transition into a health care management career by earning dual MBA and MPH degrees at Emory University in Atlanta. Olsen earned a BA in symbolic systems from Stanford University
