Erik Michielsen

Erik Michielsen is founder and CEO of Capture Your Flag. He founded Capture Your Flag in 2009 to promote Near Peer Learning as an approachable alternative to expert- and peer-based learning. An expert interviewer, Michielsen facilitates knowledge sharing by interviewing select rising leaders annually, charting their development over time to document ways aspirational careers develop. Interviews are segmented by question, creating knowledge rich and thematic driven video learning experiences used by millions worldwide. Before Capture Your Flag, Erik honed his passions for interviewing, rising leaders and idea innovation as an executive with boutique research firm ABI Research. He is a board member to non-profit Kilifi Kids and its mission to eradicate child malnutrition by using mobile health solutions. He holds an MBA from Duke University and a BA in Economics from the University of Michigan. Erik loves competing in both cooking competitions and long distance races, including the 2009, 2010, and 2013 New York City marathons.

Bryan Law

Bryan Law is a Senior Director of Strategic Projects at Rackspace, a managed cloud computing services company based in San Antonio, Texas. He is also a board member at Angola University. Previously, Law held a Principal role in the Global Business Strategy Group at Google and, prior to that, he was a manager at Monitor, management consulting firm. He earned an MBA from the Northwestern University Kellogg School of Business and a BA from Georgetown University. 

Adam Geller

Adam Geller is founder and CEO of Edthena, a video platform enabling online teacher coaching, peer review, and group learning. He earned a BA from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and a MA from the University of Missouri-Saint Louis.

Preston Smith

Preston Smith is co-founder and CEO of Rocketship Education, a leading blended charter school system in the United States, currently serving 3,800+ students in grades K-5 in seven schools and the highest performing low-income school system in California.

Leslie Kerner

Leslie Kerner is Senior Vice President and General Manager for the Professional Services group at Amplify, an education technology software and services company innovating K-12 education. She is responsible for building and managing training, professional development and consulting services for schools. 

Ken Biberaj

Ken Biberaj is real estate development executive at Morgan Barrington Associates of New York. In 2013, Biberaj ran for public office as a Democratic Candidate for New York City Council for the West Side of Manhattan. He holds a JD from New York Law School, a Masters in Public Policy (MPP) from Harvard University Kennedy School of Government, and a BA in Political Science from American University. 

Anatole Faykin

Anatole Faykin is currently a Foreign Service Officer at the United States Department of State. Previously, Faykin worked in leading digital product management roles and founded multiple companies, including Tuanpin, a Shanghai, China-based daily deals site he grew to 25 employees and sold in the fall of 2011.
